EDEN HELPS THE GREEN GROCER TO GO ‘GREEN’
Leading global supplier of store fixtures and associated services, Eden Industries is launching a new retail refurbishment, consolidation and asset management service which aims to prolong the life of store fixtures and fittings – to be known as ‘Green Retailing’.
This new specialist service will effectively double the life of existing stock, allowing asset values of store fixings to be effectively managed through refurbishment and re-use, providing a sustainable alternative for ‘green’ aware retailers.
Eden Industries has recognised for some time, the increased market awareness of sustainable products and manufacturing processes. Any activity that can effectively reduce unnecessary waste, harm to the environment and reduce costs will be a considerable benefit.
Retailers can select from a range of services including: an initial store survey; strip out and removal from the retailer’s site; asset and scrap identification so the equipment can be actively managed and segregated for re-ruse; product cleaning and or re-powder coating, storage and stock management; environmentally responsible disposal of damaged shelving and finally, re-delivery back to the retailer for re-use.
